Gulet Charter

Gulet charter means hiring a whole gulet, with its captain and crew, for your own group. Only your party is on board, and the route and number of nights are planned with you.
As of October 2026 our site lists 25 gulets. Nineteen are for week-long blue cruises from Bodrum, Fethiye, Göcek and Demre; six are for day hire from Fethiye and Kekova (Üçağız).

What is a gulet?
A gulet is a wooden boat with a wide deck, cabins and two or three masts. According to Wikipedia, most are built in Bodrum and Marmaris and are usually 14–35 m long.
Almost all gulets now have diesel engines, and most passages are made under motor. Bodrum-style gulets with cabins appeared in the early 1970s and spread with the blue cruise.

How does gulet charter work?
With a gulet charter you hire the whole boat at a price per boat. The captain handles navigation and anchoring; the crew looks after the cabins, the deck and the galley.
Online booking for weekly gulets is for 7 days, and red days on the calendar are taken. For a 5-day or 10-day charter, write to us; availability depends on the boat's calendar.
Day-hire gulets leave in the morning and return in the evening, with no overnight stay. Cabin charter is also available for blue cruises in Marmaris, but prices on this page are for the whole boat.
How many gulets are there in each harbour?
Most of our weekly gulets are in Bodrum and Fethiye, and our day-hire gulets are in Fethiye and Kekova. The table shows the gulets on our site as of October 2026.

Gulet sizes and cabins
Our weekly gulets are between 19 and 38 m long and have 3 to 9 cabins. The number of cabins sets how many people can sleep on board.

Where can you go on a gulet?
On a weekly gulet charter the route depends on the departure harbour. The sample routes on our pages are 3 and 7 nights; Göcek also has a 4-night route.

What's included in the gulet charter price?
A weekly gulet charter includes the boat, captain and crew, fuel for the planned route and port fees. Food is offered as a separate full-board package.

Which months suit a gulet charter?
The gulet season runs from May to October, and July and August are the busiest months. Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) averages for 1970–2025 put the August sea at 24.6 °C in the Aegean and 28.1 °C in the Mediterranean.
